Deadline Week Trade Value: Dynasty vs. Redraft for Every Big Name in Rumors

How the NFL trade deadline could move fantasy value for Jonathan Taylor, Tony Pollard, Brian Thomas Jr. and Jacoby Brissett, in dynasty and redraft.

The pitch: Real NFL trades change fantasy value overnight. Here's how to play each rumor, depending on which kind of league you're in.

The deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m. ET (Covers). Nothing below is done until it's done.

Jonathan Taylor, RB, Colts. Indianapolis is selling, with Quenton Nelson and DeForest Buckner already gone. NBC names Minnesota as the dream spot, with Seattle and Denver also mentioned (NBC Sports).

  • Redraft: hold. He's RB8 rest-of-season even before a move (Footballguys).
  • Dynasty: a good landing spot props him up. The real swing is Seth McGowan, a cheap stash who'd jump in value if Taylor leaves (4for4).
  • Jordan Mason: FantasyPros flags him as a sell before a possible Taylor-to-Minnesota deal (FantasyPros).

Tony Pollard, RB, Titans. NBC calls Green Bay the obvious fit.

  • Redraft: sell the five-TD spike now.
  • Dynasty: he's a short-term piece either way. Tyjae Spears is the stash, since he has two paths to work: a trade or an injury (RotoBaller).

Brian Thomas Jr., WR, Jaguars. More than one catch in only three games, and running a route on 54% of dropbacks. Kansas City has been linked (NBC Sports).

  • Both formats: he's a buy if he's traded, and a speculative buy now if his manager has given up.

Jacoby Brissett, QB, to Baltimore (reported, not final). Expected to finish this weekend, with Brissett lined up to start Week 10 at the Chargers (NFL.com).

  • Redraft: a Zay Flowers bump after Week 9.
  • Dynasty: no change for Lamar. Flowers may still be cheap from last week's panic.

More long-term angles are in dynasty vs. redraft, and the full Ravens picture is in the Ravens QB fallout.
