Rest-of-Season RB Rankings (Week 9): Gibbs Alone, Chase Brown Underrated

Week 9 rest-of-season fantasy RB rankings in tiers, plus who's rising (Coleman, Allgeier, Washington) and who's falling (Jeanty, Pollard).

The pitch: Running back got wrecked in Week 8. Here's the order for the stretch run.

Order follows Footballguys' Week 9 rest-of-season PPR projections (Footballguys). The takes are ours.

Tier 1: 1. Jahmyr Gibbs.

Tier 2: 2. Kenneth Walker III, 3. Christian McCaffrey, 4. Bijan Robinson, 5. James Cook III.

Tier 3: 6. Chase Brown, 7. Kyren Williams, 8. Jonathan Taylor, 9. Javonte Williams, 10. Bhayshul Tuten, 11. Chuba Hubbard, 12. D'Andre Swift.

Tier 4: 13. Bucky Irving, 14. Jaylen Warren, 15. Derrick Henry, 16. Jonah Coleman, 17. Ashton Jeanty, 18. Rhamondre Stevenson, 19. Ollie Gordon II, 20. Saquon Barkley.

My bumps: Chase Brown is the one I'd take over Kyren. NBC Sports has him leading all backs in targets since the bye with a 73% snap share (NBC Sports). Bucky Irving has 15+ carries in seven straight games, per FantasyPros (FantasyPros). He should be higher than 13.

Off the board but rising: Tyler Allgeier (Jeremiyah Love on IR for four to five weeks) and Mike Washington Jr. (25 carries to Jeanty's two). See the Raiders backfield breakdown.

Watch the deadline: if Jonathan Taylor is traded, Seth McGowan becomes interesting (4for4). That's on our stash list.

Other positions: QB · WR · TE
