Thursday Night Update: Tuten Active, Patriots Stars Miss Practice, CMC Limited

Week 9 Thursday updates: Bhayshul Tuten is active for TNF, Patriots stars miss a second practice, Christian McCaffrey is limited, and more lineup notes.

Thursday practice reports and TNF inactives just dropped. Here's what actually moves your Week 9 lineup.

1. Bhayshul Tuten is active for TNF. After missing all three practices with a foot/ankle injury, Ian Rapoport said he was "good to go" after his pregame workout, and the Jaguars confirmed he's active vs. Baltimore (NBC Sports, Jaguars.com). Tuten is a start, but his usual workload is not guaranteed. Chris Rodriguez Jr. remains the backup and a handcuff, rather than an automatic start; a larger split is still possible (Sports Illustrated).

2. Patriots: A.J. Brown, TreVeyon Henderson, and Hunter Henry miss a second straight practice. Brown (ankle/knee), Henderson (illness), and Henry (foot) are DNPs again Thursday (PFT, Patriots.com). If Henderson sits Sunday vs. Green Bay, Rhamondre Stevenson is the back to consider for a larger role; that is a fantasy projection, not a confirmed workload. If Henry sits, rookie Eli Raridon is in line for an expanded role (CBS Sports). Mack Hollins (calf) is on IR but was designated to return and practiced limited; unless he gets to full participation by the end of the week, he may not be activated for Sunday (Patriots.com). Wait for Friday's designations before you lock anyone here.

3. McCaffrey practices in a limited capacity Thursday. That's an improvement after Wednesday's DNP with a mild hamstring strain (PFT, CBS Sports). Keep him in your lineup plans vs. the Raiders, but wait for the final injury designation before treating him as cleared to play. Mike Evans (ribs/Achilles) and Deebo Samuel (hamstring) remain DNPs, according to the 49ers' official injury report. Evans is still likely to sit Sunday, per GM John Lynch (49ers Webzone). Keep a backup ready for Deebo and check Friday's designation.

4. Bam Knight stays out; Jake Ferguson misses again. Knight (concussion) records a second straight DNP on the Cardinals' official report and looks unlikely vs. Seattle (NBC Sports). Keep riding Tyler Allgeier. Ferguson (ankle) posts a second straight DNP on the Cowboys' official report and is trending toward a sit vs. Indy (NBC Sports). Have another TE ready; neither player has a final game designation yet.

5. Giants: Nabers sits practice but says he's good; Skattebo misses again. Malik Nabers (knee) worked with trainers instead of practicing and told reporters he's "good" for Sunday in Philly (NBC Sports, PFT). Still watch Friday's tag. Cam Skattebo (hamstring) misses a second day on the Giants' official report. Rotoworld views Devin Singletary as the tentative starter and a volume-based flex if Skattebo can't go (NBC Sports).

Eagles quick hit: DeVonta Smith (hamstring) and Dontayvion Wicks (ankle) both record a second straight DNP on the Eagles' official report. Rotoworld expects both to miss Sunday against the Giants and points to Week 11, after Philadelphia's Week 10 bye, as the likely next opportunity to play—not a confirmed return date (Smith, Wicks). Check Friday's designations.

Already covered earlier today: Murray out / Wentz starts, Egbuka full, Brian Robinson limited, and the Thursday morning Wednesday-report roundup.
