TNF Pregame: Murray Sits, Wentz Starts, Egbuka Practices Fully
Thursday fantasy updates: Kyler Murray is out Monday, Carson Wentz starts, Emeka Egbuka practices fully, and Brian Robinson Jr. remains limited.
Thursday brings a confirmed quarterback change and fresh practice updates. Here's what matters before tonight's game.
1. Kyler Murray will sit Monday; Carson Wentz to start against Buffalo. Kevin O'Connell confirms Murray has a hamstring strain and is week-to-week. Wentz starts for Minnesota, with Max Brosmer backing him up (Vikings.com, NFL.com). Sit Murray and hold him on your bench. Wentz is a desperation streamer in 1QB and an option in superflex, not a must-start.
2. Emeka Egbuka practices fully Thursday. The Bucs' official report upgrades Egbuka (foot) from Wednesday's DNP to full participation Thursday (Buccaneers.com). Earlier reporting confirmed his return to practice after missing the last two games (RotoWire, FantasyPros). That's a step forward, but Friday's report still matters. Keep him in your lineup plans for Chicago without treating him as cleared to play yet.
3. Brian Robinson Jr. stays limited Thursday. Robinson (hamstring) remains limited in Atlanta's first full practice in Madrid (Falcons.com, NBC Sports). If he returns Sunday against Cincinnati, he's a complementary option behind Bijan Robinson, not a lead-back play (CBS Sports). Wait for Friday's designation before counting on him.
TNF reminder (Jax @ Bal): Bhayshul Tuten remains a game-time decision with an ankle/foot injury after three DNPs (Jaguars.com). Keep Chris Rodriguez Jr. ready if Tuten sits. Joe Fagnano starts for Baltimore. See the Thursday morning update, and check inactives before the 7:15 p.m. CT kickoff.
