Murray Faces More Missed Time; Watson Clears Protocol; Saints Cut Miller

Kyler Murray has a Grade 2 hamstring strain. Tom Pelissero reports he’ll miss Monday’s game against Buffalo and potentially more time. Minnesota will reassess him ahead of Week 10 against Green Bay. Carson Wentz starts Monday. Sit Murray and have a backup ready for next week, too. Wentz is a desperation streamer in single-quarterback leagues and an option in superflex. (CBS Sports / RotoWire, Bleacher Report)

Deshaun Watson clears concussion protocol; Shedeur Sanders still starts. Watson remains questionable for Sunday at New Orleans, and Todd Monken hasn’t confirmed who will back up Sanders. Sit Watson; Sanders remains a deep-league or superflex option. (NBC Sports / PFT, NFL.com)

The Saints release Kendre Miller. Nick Underhill reports New Orleans cut Miller on Saturday. Travis Etienne is still on injured reserve. (Saints roster) With CJ Donaldson also out, Alvin Kamara and recently acquired Audric Estime lead the available backfield against Cleveland. Kamara is the start; Estime is a speculative deep-league option. Miller is droppable in redraft, but dynasty managers can wait to see where he lands.
